Blue Ridge EV Club’s main outreach event is for National Drive Electric Week in Asheville. They also participate in local events such as farmer’s markets, Earth Day celebrations, home shows, festivals and school events.
“We are a local non-profit club in Western North Carolina founded in 2014 dedicated to educating the public about electric vehicles and transportation. We consist of about 60 members and are a chapter of the EAA. Most of our members drive electric because of environmental and political issues associated with oil. We have seen a growing awareness for electric vehicles in our area, and perhaps we have had some influence on decisions to install chargers. “- Rudy Beharrysingh
