“We see plug-in electric vehicle charging as an electrical load that will continue to grow in the future. We want to make sure we are able to manage the increased load to benefit the electric vehicle driver and the entire membership. We have been able to locate where electric vehicles are on our system. We are gaining a better understanding of the level of electrical load that electric vehicles bring on our system. We have also been able to influence charging behavior by getting members to charge off-peak.”
