Ten years ago, in 2014 at the Public Works parking lot on the corner of Charlotte Street and Eagle Street, the Blue Ridge EV Club hosted its first National Drive Electric Event. At that time there were three main EVs: Leafs, Model Ss, and Volts. The world of EVs has certainly changed.
On Sunday September 29th, 2024, in collaboration with Sugar Hollow Solar, Asheville Hunter Volvo, and the Tanger Asheville Outlets, the Blue Ridge EV Club will host its 11th annual National Drive Electric event at the Tanger Asheville Outlets from noon to 4pm (rain date Oct. 6th).
At the event you will be able to see and ride in a wide variety of EVs. You can find electric cars, trucks, and bikes from Volvo, Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Subaru, Hyundai, Tesla, Kia, Polestar, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Nissan, Honda, Genesis, Mitsubishi, Rivian, Lucid, BMW, Porsche, Harley Davidson…
